Backend Developer Intern
About the Role
We are looking for a Backend Developer Intern to help build EYEDOO’s APIs and backend systems. The role involves working with Node.js, Next.js, MongoDB, authentication, RBAC, WebSockets, real-time updates, and statistics-driven services. The ideal candidate should understand backend fundamentals and have an interest in building secure, scalable APIs and data systems for modern web applications.
What You Will Do
- Develop backend services
- Build REST APIs
- Develop Next.js API routes
- Work with Node.js
- Design MongoDB schemas
- Implement OTP authentication
- Implement role-based access control
- Develop secure authorization systems
- Build real-time features with WebSockets
- Implement live data updates
- Develop statistics & metrics APIs
- Build dashboards and data endpoints
- Optimize API performance
- Handle errors and validation
- Test APIs and backend services
- Maintain clean, scalable code
- Debug backend issues
- Integrate third-party APIs

- Pursuing B.Tech / B.E. / BCA / MCA
- Node.js fundamentals
